Lama Zakzok

Lama assists with the firm's consumer arbitration docket for its financial service clients and is often the first point of contact for clients. Lama assesses clients' needs, guides them through the intake process, and connects them with the right resources within the firm. Lama also leads the firm's communications to update its clients about how to implement changes in regulation. Anytime legal research is needed to help solve a client’s problem, she is on top of it. Lama utilizes her determination and strong analytic skills to contribute to solutions for our clients.

Lama was born and raised in Austin, Texas, and received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Baylor University. At Baylor, she majored in Anthropology and International Studies. Lama specialized in the study of cultural and archaeological anthropology. Her research resulted in the receipt of the second-place award at the annual Society for Applied Anthropology conference among hundreds of undergraduate, graduate, and post-graduate applicants.

Lama received her law degree from the University of Houston Law Center. She was a member of the Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) team and participated in two national competitions and placed as a quarterfinalist in one. During her free time, Lama loves to travel, hike, kayak, and attend music festivals and concerts. Lama is also an avid fan of the Dallas Cowboys, otherwise known to her as the greatest football team of all time.
